my name is Alex saveliev
I am a portrait and wedding photographer in charlotte nc.
My journey with photography began when I was just seven years old. I still remember the day my father gave me my very first camera—it was small, simple, and magical. From that moment on, I was hooked. I started photographing my school, my friends, and anything that caught my curious eye. That gift sparked a lifelong passion for capturing the world through a lens.
Over the years, that childhood curiosity grew into a career. I spent 18 years working as a fashion, wedding, and portrait photographer in New York, where I honed my craft and developed a deep love for storytelling through imagery.
Eventually, my path led me—and my family—to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I now have the privilege of bringing both artistry and heart to every portrait I create. Whether I’m photographing a confident business owner, a high school senior about to step into the world, or a family building their legacy, I approach every session with the same wonder I felt at seven years old.
